1. 

Treasurer’s Report

Account balance is $2,831. That is approximately $1,000 more than we had at beginning of school year last year.  Soccer still needs money ($150-200) for equipment. They will be given a check as soon as they decided their need. This year’s money will be focused on the new ball field and the new gym.

2. 

Trunk and Treat

Saturday October 29th. 4-4:30pm costume parade (no awards this year), 4:30-5pm trunk or treat, 5:30-7pm chili feed. Danielle Brown is in charge of food. Danielle will be getting ground beef donated; if participants need it for chili they can contact her. Paige Wyatt will judge trunks. We will divide up participants alphabetically to bring chili, desserts, and toppings. May be able to get toppings from Yokes with our $200 credit. Suggested to have a trunk on display at Fall Fest as an example.

Tim Nies presentation

Tim Nies is in charge of fundraising for the new ball field and gymnasium. His committee is trying to raise $150-200,000 for irrigation and hydro-seeding for the field, flooring and changing rooms for the gym. He is looking for donations from community members and alumni and is planning fundraisers. Fall Fest money has been earmarked for playground equipment. He would like word of mouth and spiritual support from the Boosters.

 Scentsy Fundraiser

Packets are being put together this week and will be handed out Monday October 17th. It will run through Wednesday November 16th. This was a very successful fundraiser last year bringing in over $1,200.

Needs for the move to the new campus in November

Danielle Brown will be getting around 4,000 boxes donated. Volunteers will be needed to tape and transport boxes. Donations for tape and other supplies are needed. It was brought up that it would be convenient to have group babysitting since kids are out of school so that more people are able to help.

Media

BLS Moms Facebook page is being changed to BLS Parents. Jeanette Allwardt is creating a BLS Boosters fan page so that it can be linked to email, twitter, etc. Michelle Granrud is creating a new Bethlehem Boosters blog page.

7.

Fall Fest

Boosters will have an info table. Volunteers are still needed mainly for the “fest” portion of the day. Vendors are still being accepted. If you would like to volunteer or have questions contact Tammy White.
